Who Are We?
Oakland Outdoor was formed by two entrepreneurial brothers who regularly observed poorly kept outdoor wood and patios in their daily work (see www.oakland-group.co.uk). They saw the opportunity to help their clients and give greater exposure to the specialist Wood and Hard Surface Care product set. The marine market seemed
to have cornered and embraced the Wood Care products yet applicability was seen to be far greater. Typically
Holmenkol marine products are only found at specialist suppliers/chandlers who
are aware of the Holmenkol brand and the nano technology that sits behind the
product set. The Bintons MMC Pro product is used by commercial oragansisations but not well know in the domestic market.
However, the Wood Care products apply to a wider outdoor market that have
expensive woods needing care and protection. It's a similar story for the hard surface care.
If there is wood that needs protection or hard surfaces that need to be rid of the green algae look , our products should be the choice. You may be in or near the marine environment and have a yacht, pontoon or home by the sea. Or you may have outdoor needs at a hotel, golf club, home, a shopping centre etc.
