What Are The Treatment Options?

Wood, especially hardwood, is durable and hard-wearing. However environmental influences such as UV rays, water and dirt have a serious detrimental effect.  Have a look at your car or  the topsides of you boat after a couple of weeks without washing to see what actually falls on your wood!

Hardwoods become become grey/silver and algae, mildew and moss penetrate and grow on the wood fibres. The grey/silver 'patina' is formed from the wood losing its natural oils, dirt and bleaching!

Until now, cleaning and sealing wood such as teak, or softwoods such as larch, pine, and cedar, has been problematic. Acidic and aggressive cleaners attack the wood, joints, sealants and finishing’s and mild soaps don’t clean heavily soiled surfaces adequately.

WoodProtector is recommended for both new and older wood surfaces, to protect and preserve the natural colour and let the grain show through. If used on new wood it allows a build up of maximum surface protection from the start. It doesn't have any of the downsides of the traditional methods and uses 'nano' technology to  keep the wood looking its best for longer.
